Photovoltaic panel modules are power generation devices that use semiconductor materials, such as silicon, to convert light energy into direct current. Its core principle is based on the photovoltaic effect, which achieves stable power generation through solid-state structures with no moving parts, making it suitable for power supply of small electronic devices, building surface integration, and grid-connected power systems. The components are mainly composed of laminates, aluminum alloy frames, and junction boxes, of which the laminates include tempered glass, EVA film, silicon-based cells and backplates to achieve light transmission protection and photoelectric conversion.

According to the material properties, the conversion efficiency of monocrystalline silicon cells can reach 24%, and polysilicon is 12%-14.8%. Modules can expand the scale of power generation through modular connections to meet the needs of different scenarios. In practical applications, photovoltaic panel modules are often integrated on the surface of buildings (such as roofs and windows), and combined with inverters, controllers and other equipment to form a complete power generation system.
